I want to put underfloor heating in my extension (lounge) it will be roughly 25sqm. I have been quoted £475 for a speedfit pack and £980 for polypipe. The plumbers merchant said they never sell speedfit packs cause all the plumbers go for polypipe. My dilema is i am not rich and something half the price sounds much more appealing.

Should i go for the cheaper system or will i get what i pay for?

are you using a seperate manifold and thermostat/programmer and zone valve for this loop, or just adding it to the existing house heating loop via a blending valve?

look at nuheat

they will supply the lot as per your quote

fill it in online

you tell them what you want they tell you what you need

We use the Wavin system, again they will calculate the amount you need for you

Try Maincor ufh, not the chepest on the market but one of the best.

When you say "speedfit pack" do you mean the Single Room Underfloor Heating Pack for up to 30 sq metres? And does that include VAT?
If so, snap their hands off. That's one hell of a deal!

Even for the up to 20 sq m it's still a very good deal.

Check for damage from when it fell of the back of the lorry!
Not many merchants can buy at those prices.
