Porch column aesthetics

Hello everyone. I’m new to this site and looking for ideas. I want to make my patio more attractive but the person/s who built my deck did a horrible job on the footings for the deck. The footings are not in a straight line and are all different heights. I was thinking of boxing all the columns bigger than needed so I would have the play of making them all be in a straight line as well as covering the footings. I am on a budget so I’m not looking to spend a fortune. Any ideas are appreciated

Place a spirit level on the decking and let us know how level it is on top.
