What was once a storm porch has at some time in the past become a front extension to the house i.e. bigger hallway.
The problem I have is the front wall below the windows is made of single brick and condensation is forming on the inner surface. The inner surface was battens and a hardboard covering. A membrane was installed against the wall before the battens were fitted.I have removed all this.
I believe my problem is lack of insulation.
Starting again with just the bricks, how would you professional builders solve the problem i.e. what insulation ? what thickness ? what finish ?
