Nail through hot water pipe upstairs, fixed with comp str conx now theres no hot water, just a little trickle then nothing, any ideas please??

have u turned the stop tap on full
yeah on full, cylinder full also??
crack open joint and be carefull quick open quick reseal have open end tap and seal it before the water goes every where

If you have mixer tap in the kitchen turn on hot tap, hold hand under spout tightly and turn on cold tap for 10-15 seconds. Turn cold tap off and let hot tap run. It should gurgle and spit a bit but can clear airlock. 
If you don't know what it is - It's an air lock. Cracking the nut on the compression joints you just made till water comes out, should do the trick.
Mr dubya no comprende, Sussed it, hose pipe on downstairs cold mixer and on hot mixer, run the cold at high pressure and there we have it, thanks anyway!!!
