Not sure If I have posted this in the correct forum, apologies if I haven't Right.....
I live in a terraced house and my external wall which is connected to my neighbour has a problem. The paint peels straight form the wall
and also there is a sandy texture appearing, which is patchy. I have just sealed the external wall with a brick sealer even though the wall is painted but I was hoping this will stop the outside wall from soaking up any water. (After reading a few forums this is a bad idea )
Any ideas on what the problem is? This is only occurring in a 400mm wide x 900mm high section.
I will be hacking off the internal render soon, and would be very grateful in recommended mixes for the the new render.
