Possible new drug to treat Covid

Funnily enough...

Novavax jab volunteer's 'regret' over trial approval wait

"A Covid vaccine trial volunteer has said he has been left struggling to organise trips abroad because the jab involved has not yet been licensed."

"Damian Reynolds, from Bradford, said he now "regretted" getting two doses of the Novavax jab in 2020 as he could not prove he had been fully vaccinated.
The vaccine has yet to be licensed in the UK and some countries refuse to consider volunteers fully vaccinated.
Novavax said it was "working day and night" to complete its submission.
The US-based firm added it would "advocate" on behalf of UK volunteers who had taken part in its Covid vaccine trial."

"The company started its trials in October 2020, with over 15,000 people across the country taking part.
But with the Novavax trial still ongoing and the vaccine not yet licensed in the UK, participants are classed by other countries in the same way as those who are unvaccinated.
That means they may have to quarantine or complete tests before travelling abroad."

So you were saying what exactly about trusting jabs?
And this shows what? That we have a system which is risk averse.

And this shows what? That we have a system which is risk averse.
It shows that people are getting a jab they didn't realise wouldn't be approved at this time given inadequate testing...

Would you get a Novavax jab at this present time as opposed to the ones that have been approved and you might deem therefore 'safe'?

wouldn't be approved at this time given inadequate testing...

Sounds like you're making things up again, Ellal.
Approval comes after testing, not before. Not being approved is not the same as not being tested, so stop stating that the vaccines are untested and dangerous.
Unless you have some researched proof that they are, that you want to share with us sheeple?

And look, another possible new drug to treat Covid!

There were no cases of severe COVID-19 or COVID-19-related deaths in those treated with AZD7442. In the placebo arm, there were three cases of severe COVID-19, which included two deaths.

AZD7442 is the first antibody combination (non-vaccine) modified to potentially provide long-lasting protection that has demonstrated prevention of COVID-19 in a clinical trial.

The trial included 5,197 participants in a 2:1 randomisation AZD7442 to placebo. The primary analysis was based on 5,172 participants who did not have SARS-CoV-2 infection at baseline.

You are a bloody disgrace.
Im the one highlighting the risk that the dissemination of anti-vax nonsense can mean (and has meant) that people who decide to believe it, and and therefore refuse the vaccine, die, and Im the one who is a "bloody disgrace"?

Why do you and your cronies think that criticism of anti-vax nonsense is "bloody disgraceful"?

So you were saying what exactly about trusting jabs?
So you say that the vaccines are not to be trusted because they havent been properly tested, and as proof of that you present evidence of proper testing taking place.

Do you not see a problem with that? Everybody else does.

You say, in effect, "See! They are testing vaccines before they approve them! That means the vaccines cant be trusted!"

Ah, I see. So the USA were trying to **** up the, er….USA and the rest of the world?
Bizarre isn't it, yet that is what you and others are accusing China of doing, inventing a virus to screw up China and the rest of the world.
You think the USA are incapable of such a self destructive act, but China are capable? Do you see how ridiculous that makes you look?

China was experimenting with virus's in the Wuhan viral centre and it got out when an employee popped out for a bat and pangolin soup at the local market for their lunch.

There have been no winners, and there is no motive for releasing a deadly virus that is costing all countries a fortune to combat.
But it's all part of the loony anti-vaxxers paranoid world view
