I’m installing a 6 foot gate on 6x6 timber posts
The options are 2.4m and 3m
2.4m is too short and 3m is overkill?
Would you trim some off the length of the 3m length to make it 2.7m long (90cm in ground, 180cm above ground) or would you just dig deeper and out 1.2m in the ground?
