Postcrete Shed base?

Please excuse my ignorance and general lack of ability!!

I need to extend a concrete base that originally had been laid for a dog run. When it was done, a shed and kennel where left in place on a shoddy slab and dirt base, with the concrete coming up to meet it. (I didn't do it, and paid well over the odds for a family contact to do it!!)

I now need to complete the run, however I have neither the time nor technical ability to mix my own concrete, and can't really justify paying over the odds for someone else to do it!!

Would postcrete be a suitable option? The base only needs to be a few cm's deep just to provide a level footing for new shed and kennel (not much weight to either). the space is roughly 4 1/2 meters wide and 2 meters deep.

I looked at having ready mixed concrete delivered, but was quoted at £200.

You could ask readymix or another similar supplier nicely if they could drop off any surplus they might have at a reduced cost, if they are in the area.
Or buy a mixer, do it yourself and sell the mixer.

Personally i'd just pay readymix or get a better quote..
