Potential Asbestos?

Recently purchased a house built in 1960. I’ve got new boiler going in tomorrow so I was removing the boxing in around old boiler and came across what I believe to be old pipe insulation. I picked up and bagged it. But broke it in half so it would fit. After doing so I realised it could potentially be asbestos. Any help would be great.

The only way to tell is to get it tested. Does look a bit dodgy though.
