My son has a Two bed flat heated by the above boiler supplying 7 rads.

Pressure drops at boiler gauge by over 1/2 bar overnight, no obvious signs of a leak.

Used the loop yesterday to bring system back up to 1.5 bar, locked off each rad at its inlet and outlet but system still dropped.

I think the heating was run without any or much pressure a while back before we realised the pressure was down, dont know if this could have damaged anything.

Is there a pressure valve on the boiler that could be allowing the pressure to fall?

Is it more likely to be the piping to the rads or hot water?
Any help or advice welcome.

Thanks
Bill

Check PRV vent is not leaking. Put bottle on it to check overnight too.

The isolate boiler heating valves and that will see if its in the boiler or the heating system.

Feel all rad valves when well cold and look for water on your hands!
