Hi,

Got a problem with the heating, when i switch it on, the flame light dont light up, but it lights up with the hot water.

has anyone had this problem, its bloody freezing in my house tonight. ha

Does the demand indicator light come on the boiler?

Nop, alls that happens is you hear like the water running into it, but the flame dont light up.

this is another version of the puma if im not mistaken check you haven't got any h/w taps dripping/running as this can stop heating coming on.

Bath tap was dripping, so just turned it off, turned c/h on the flame lite up, so just testing now.

just had a look, flame gone out!!!

these boilers do shut off the heating after a few mins after first lighting, then the wax capsule opens in the diverter valve the heat goes to rads and boiler should re fire, if boiler fires for heating then goes out and does not come back on it will be a problem with wax capsule in diverter valve, this will need changing.
