I have a floor standing Potterton Kingfisher MF CFL80 floorstanding boiler. It is regularly serviced. I have seen other postings on this site that have my problem. Quite frequently the boiler makes a loud clicking noise - sometimes that leads it to switch itself off and today it even failed to start up without me pushing the reset button.
I have no wish to try and repair this myself and last week i called out my GSR guy who services it and he went away saying he had no idea what causes the problem. I tried this morning to book the specialist Potterton Heat Team to come out but they said the boiler was too old for them to even look at! (10 years?)
The reason for this post is to ask if anyone knows a GSR engineer in the Portsmouth/Fareham/Hants area who DOES really know how to fix a Potterton Kingfisher boiler. I just need a recommendation please.
