I have just moved in to a house with one of these boilers and all seems to be working fine
on closer looking however the isolating valve is shut half way down ! when i turn it on fully the main burner is way to high and reads too high on the water gauge
pardon my ignorance but i can not see were the gas adjusting screw is ( there must be one as the plate shows the three pressures ) and wonder were the hell it s
also does any body have any instuctions or parts diagram as i cant seem to find any
Thanks in advance
andy

dont be daft he`s got a manometer and took the bp

you are taking the bp and not the inlet arnt you

Wow so many replies were to start
No i don't work for british gas but used to work for a similar "good co !!"
was cr 15 years ago but not now job move for sanity

no i was not checking the inlet as only 1 tp on the gas valve
and because on this type of boiler the gas valve was held by string and then the boiler was built round it!! i cant see the adjusting screw but know it is too high from the gauge hence my original question

Thats Strange...15 Years ago there were thousands of these old 16-22 Netaheats out there, i'd have thought you would have known everything there was to know about them?? :? :? :? :? :? :?
