We have a potterton netaheat 10-16 which has recently started playing up. The symptoms are that the whole system shuts off, hot water and CH.
When it works it works well, so I assume the pump and heat exchanger are just fine.
Originally the timer was the prime suspect so we bypassed the timer meaning we could only turn the system on and off manually. However we still have the problem. typically it will work for 12 to 14 hours then stop working for about 10 hours. It can't be the room thermostats because the boiler won't heat hot water either.
So far we've had 2 visits from an CH engineer but with no joy, it always seems to work when he arrives !
Anyone got any advice or ideas ?
