I have a intermittent fault on my Potterton Netaheat Electronic 10/16 Boiler.
When a demand is placed either HW or CH the fan runs up and the electrode sparks but will not light. the APS is closing and putting 240v to the control box. There is 110 volts to GV1. The gas valves resistance across the coil is 3k and 4k.
On the occasions when it does light when the pilot is lit 240 volts go to GV2.
Any ideas could it be an ittermitent solinoid on the gas valve as sometimes there is a buzzing noise between ignition and lthe gas lighting
