Hi guys I have a potterton performa 24 boiler which is firing up for hot water but not for heating I've noticed the pin which operates the micro switch is permanently out . I've since found out that it operates the diverter valve .. My question is .. Is that the obvious problem or could it be something else because if I pay for a new valve to be fitted and then something else I might as well have a new boiler sorry to be so long winded thanks in advance.
