potterton performa 24

A friend of mine has bought a house and his combi Potterton performa 24 has only got its internal timer. He would like to install a wireless programmable room stat.
1) what wireless would you recommend
2) how to install it

Hi bengasman thanks 4 your reply.

This friend does not have a M.I. When he bought that house the boiler was already there. Is it possible for u or somebody else to run me through it if i opted for a honeywell wireless programmable room stat as it seems to be quite popular. Thank you 4 your help guys.
