Hi sorry my first post is a problem but thats how i found the site.

anyway i've got a potterton performa 24 combi boiler. I've just installed a room stat ( drayton RTS8 ), i have wired it up in the 3 wire configuration, using the neutral from the boiler supply and the stat s/w is wired into the linking wire on the boiler if that makes sense. it works fine switchs the boiler etc. the problem is the heating comes on heats the house, switchs off and the rads cool right down before the heating kicks back in. This might be correct but it seems to be a very uneconomical???

could the problem be the wrong room stat? or maybe the rads?

any help would be really great

wire in to stat boiler terminal 1

switch wire from stat boiler term 2

if they are the wrong way round it will cut the anticipator heater out
