Hi

Is there anyone out who can give me an idea of how much/how long it would cost to replace the pump in this model - have jsut returned from a 6 week holiday and my elderly parents both in there 80's have just had this job doen a dnI think they may have been ripped off! cost was 800 pounds.......Is this expensive?

I dont know that model in much detail but we would expect to charge £84 plus the pump at about £100.

Can you email me with the name of the firm concerned? Email in profile.

We went to sort out a new boiler when the installer had left it with no DHW working.

Lady was blind and 89 and husband was 91 but could not walk much. These ALIVE people witheld part of the cost of the installation. !!!

Fault was he had chewed up pipe washer and added a tap washer and ended up with no leak but a blocked pipe!

easier to change pump on this appliance than most other . u remove front push clip panel and oops there it is,oops there it is.standard pump. should be about 80 to 100 quid. if u need to drain down and fill, can take upto 4 hrs.

Isolation valves are already fitted to the grundfoss pump . Simply isolate valves , remove four allen bolts , remove motor and fit new . Our charge for this would be £122.00 plus vodka and tonic . If you were a contract customer with our company , the cost would be £52.00 plus vat .

we specialize in these boilers and would only charge about 200 pounds MAX even if we had to drain it down a bit. sounds like a definite rip off
