The blighter has been working this afternoon but now wont light, Thermostat asking for heat but nothing, no starting cycles just seems dead.
Any ideas chaps.

Just managed to light it on hot water I think it may be the actuator on 3 port valve as it seems pretty hot and switched manually to heating.
Does that seem viable.

that wouldn't of tripped the boiler.

I take it's the overheat stat thats on the bottom of the boiler?, would the actuator failing not cause the overheat stat to cut in, especially if it failed opening or closing causing a restriction.

Bit of a long shot, but it could be something like the valve switch not corresponding with the physical position.
More likely to be the heating side having to much resistance for the pump; just about keeps going on dhw through 22/28 mm, but can't overcome the 15 mm and valves.
