Potterton prima f Central heating not coming on

I have a potterton prima f 40 boiler,two days ago the cental heating would not ignite absoloutely nothing not even a try, however the hot water still ignites although this also is taking a few attempts to ignite and it used to light straight away.
Have not had the central heating on for about 12-14 weeks. My boiler was installed new into a new build house 9 years ago.

Any help or ideas on what the problem could be would be most appreciated

Tempted to just put Lack of Servicing!
But you have 2 problems. The boiler does not "know" whether it's colledon for CH or HW, so there's something wrong external to the boiler. It's possible you have a dud 3-port or diverter valve or just the motor inside. Do a search - you'll find plenty of stuff,

Not lighting properly could be a number of things, most of which would need a corgi wallah to deal with.
