Dr. Google is a wonderful thing.

Another hour on the intersphere and I've narrowed it down to;

Lose connection on the PCB
Dry joint on the PCB
Heat damaged cable/wire

All these problems seem to generate the same fault according to other posts I've read.

Dead PCB. They're shlte.

Simples.

Never is 13 years have I seen a chattering GV on one of these.

In fact. I don't think I have even had to change a GV on one of these. Have to check later if I can be a7sed.
