Hi as a landlord I have a flat that I have rented through our local council which the tenancy is coming to an end. They have done a gas void check today and stated that the wrong clips have been fitted to the flue and the ceiling to the loft has not been sealed/made good. The boiler is a Potterton Promax with a vertical flue. When the flat was rented out a year ago I had a gas safety check completed should these issues have been picked up then.
As an ex gas engineer myself having left the trade over 30 years ago can I ask what type of clips should be fitted and should there be a ceiling plate installed I can remember doing this in my short time as a Gas engineer.
