Can anyone tell me if the pump on this combi boiler is used for the central heating or hot water or both? It seems to run for both.

The pump will run after using hot water to cool the boiler down,it does not usually run during using hot water for short periods.It also may heat rads up when on overrun as it has to dump the heat somewhere.
Thanks a lot, I think that explains it. So the pump is only for the central heating side and I can rest assured that any added inhibitor will never reach the hot water side? Is that correct?
