Hi all,

Am planning to replace my temperamental diverter valve / wax capsule after it failed to perform and leaked everywhere. (Potterton Puma 80e)

I am replacing the whole part rather than just the wax capsule.

Can anyone tell me (before I dismantle it all) whether the fibre washers required to fit it are standard sizes, or am I going to have to get Potterton specific ones?

Thanks,

Robin

All are standard green fibre washers. You can use PTFE tape for the water pressure switch. Don't touch the flow and return isolating valves though. A little tip is to place a couple of vertical cuts in the backplane and bend the lip down to access the diverter backnut.
