i just come from my sisters where her combi boiler is playing up.Little bit of history on this boiler it has been a lemon from day one.More new parts that you can shake a stick at,no less than 9 low pressure switch 7 pcb boards you get my drift.All the repairs have been under breakdown cover but now has stopped.The boiler fires up for about 10secs then shuts off turning off pilot,i think the boiler is over heating,pump runs.This happens on heating and dhw could it be the diverter thanks peter

Should have got the system cleaned when boiler was installed

You need a new pump, this is probably also contaminated with the filthy water in the central heating system.

hi this boiler is now 10 years old so wont be long before a new one is needed.Do you think its the pump thats gone.When i opened vent nut black water did come out of the pump .Would this also effect dhw thanks peter
