Mrs phoned me to say leak on carpet under boiler, its leaking on the seal between black cast iron bit and silver part (below) where the pilot light window is. Only 2 weeks ago, had 2 small replacement rads, ( I supplied) system drained, balanced, (£440) so rads were working best in 5 years. Boiler serviced about 3 yrs ago. Hit me with the damage, is it best to repair or renew ?

Rs 40 you mean flamingo? .. Drain down has probably moved sh#te in heat exchanger that was hiding week spot, new boiler time heat ex prob obsolete or stupid price
