Hi all,

I am replacing my kitchen floor and have now dug out, laid hardcore, laid DPM & Jablite (50mm). The concrete is coming tomorrow.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to level/tamp the concrete (Battens around the edge arent really an option) and how to barrow in the Concrete without knackering the Jablite with the barrow or my wellies?

Thanks all

Tim

Is it your intention to trowel finish the concrete or are you adding a screed afterwards?

You can lay scaffold boards onto the jablite to protect it though there should be another layer of polythene on top plus the jablite should be 125mm thick to meet current reg's.

We use a 1200mm level around the perimeter and then tamp-in.
