Power consumption of double oven

Unless Mrs Sheds is in charge, as she seems to think that you need to put 1l of water into a kettle for 1 mug of tea...

ah, so its not just Mrs. Faradayski who does that (time after time after time)

Watching her do that makes my blood boil faster than the water

Managed to get her down to just under the litre mark

So basically no different from any 3kW 1.5l kettle in the hands of someone who actually knows how much 1 cup/mug holds.....

does your kettle boil a mug of water in 30 seconds?
does it even work when there is so little water in it ( the thermal cut off relying on steam to operate it? )
