Power Flushing - is it always worth it?

I dont see a water test will help you.

In a local area we diagnose the fault and clean the plate and do a service for about 30% less that BG usually charge for their fixed price repair.

I am not sure how they deal with a blocked plate. I have heard of them requiring an expensive power flush to be done.

We have to explain that we cannot guarantee it will not get blocked again but if its taken five years plus so far its likely to take at least as long next time.

In this type of situation we normally remove the plate heat exchanger and flush it through with our descaleing pump,we then advise the customer to have a filter fitted on the boiler a spirovent combination filter which will remove magnetic as well non magnetic debris

The filter will also protect the other critical boiler parts from wear and tear such as the divertor valve and pump and clean the system eventually of all the contaminants

Have run X800 round for a few hours, but HE hopelessly blocked.

thanks to all again.

First time Ive used Sentinel - can anyone suggest why the water comes out cloudy green, but no sludge?
