My plumber intends fitting a power shower but when turning the bath around established the cold water is running off the mains. He has told me that he can instal a reducer to the cold feed which will reduce the water pressure to .50.
The instructions with the shower state that the unit must not under any circumstances be connected to the mains!
My question therefore is
Is installing a reducer to the mains when using a power shower legal.
Is this a safe option.
Any help before the job is done would be much appreciated.
