Anyone know any good websites/shops for powertools at decent prices? i recently had my van stolen, no damage except the window but all my toold need replacing
Yea tried screwfix, what i'm finding is that they're all pretty much the same give or take a few quid. I've found some cheap stuff on www.makita-direct though.
If you want cordless stuff then you can usually get a good deal in screwfix on a combi drill with 3 batteries. Then just buy the other tools you need bare off ebay to use the same batteries.
I didn't really get the full story, just heard around that the local car boot sales have been closing down. Maybe they all have been nicked! ha. doubtful....
Sorry to hear of your misfortune, I would advise caution with a lot of these discount tool sites, people often pay for powertools and don't receive them. Stick to the well know names and your money will be safe.
Find a good deal from a supplier and google it for bad reviews, also try blagger.com.
