I need to get our system flushed. The radiators are not blocked and are all working fine but we had a sensor replaced (Vaillant F75fault) as it had black residue on it even though we had a Magnaclean fitted.
About £500 for Magnacleanse and £800 for a Power flush, 10 rads, both plus vat. A lot fewer companies doing PFs.
So Powerflush or Magnacleanse?

I don't know what a Magnatec is. What is MF? Why do you say you "need to get our system flushed?" A Magnacleanse is used during a powerflush.

You did not say how old your system is.

This is a DIY site. You could do a chemical clean yourself. This will give you an idea of how dirty the system is. The cost is slight. A magnetic filter on your system would catch circulating particles.

OP updated to clarify. Although the boiler and radiators are only 12 years old the copper (15 & 22mm) pipe work is a mixture with come considerably older.
The Magnacleanse is a heavy duty chemical clean (not just a case of putting X800 in and flushing which I did about 6 years ago) which I’m probably going to go for. I could fork out £500 for the kit but I would rather pay some one to do it.

As you already have a Magnaclean, it should be catching circulating particles.

How much sludge do you take out of it in a year?

You could use X400 to loosen remaining sludge.

It is catching particles but as the sensor was blocked I have decided that the full Magnacelanse is needed. This is more than putting X400/800 in and doing it myself (I did that four years ago) - https://adey.com/magnacleanse
