Hi

The flow switch on my powermax 155x has started leaking i have tried putting ptfe tape round the thread and also turned the washer round both of which have only slowed the dripping down.Do i need to get a whole new flow switch or would a new washer do the job .This part is plastic so i asume that you should only do it up hand tight.Any help/advice would be great .

Thanks

You can try a new washer first, ideally with some silicone grease on both mating surfaces.

Somnetimes they leak because of a crack in the plastic which is not always visible.

Its only by experience that you learn how tight. I suppose about 200-400 gram metres perhaps.
