I have a Powermax 185 combi boiler installed at home and generally it has worked fine but recently the hot water temperature seems to vary from 25 to 60 degrees. It is supposed to be a standard 60 degrees at all times.

Is this likely to be a faulty mixing valve?

it does sound like your blender valve needs replacing but if you live in a hard water area it may be a scale problem. easiest way to find out is to remove the short pipe on top of the blender and look inside for scale if there is scale your boiler needs descaling "not a diy job"
