I have a Powermax model 185 doesn't have any water temperature control on the user panel. I am going away for a few months in winter and don't need hot water but would like the heating to come when the temperatures drop drastically. The control panel doesn't allow "heating only" option. Is there a way to get round this?

No this is a thermal store,and the store needs to be on for the radiators to heat up, even if you have a frost stat installed the thermal store needs to be up to temp before the pump will run for the heating
