Pre Primed MDF - Primer/Undercoat?

Hi all

Just managed to get pre primed skirts fitted through my whole house.

I obviously need to undercoat which I will do

As I’ve already got a tin of undercoat/primer in the house. Can I use this as the undercoat or am I better just getting a tin of undercoat and using that?
