Pre-tiling plaster alternative

Hi all,

I'm doing a bathroom refit. When gutting the existing tiles, I'm left with quite a lot of areas that need patching/building up before tiling. I've also got a couple of small bare brick areas where I'm removed old boxing.

I don't really have the time to plaster and wait before tiling. Are there any techniques or quick drying products anyone would recommend to build the wall out?

I would fill any big holes with some tile adhesive and put some of your old tiles on it to bring it level and just spread some adhesive over the rest to bring it level with the wall and let it go off and then tile over the top of it. Where your back to brick do the same as you would on a big hole. This works for me!!!!
