precast or insitu framed structure

Can anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of both, im sur ei have the basics, but was looking for more information, if anyone has a good web link that would be great.

whole house? garage? extension?
by pre-cast I assume you mean concrete panels? and by in-situ framed structure I assume you mean stick framed timber structure? ( which is why I'm thinking garage )?

Type of structure would be useful.. as Coljack says..

A precast basement and an insitu one differ vastly to a precast floor against an insitu one..

there's always SIPS...
effectively a thick sheet of foam glued in between 2 sheets of chipboard..

ready insulated and available with internal facias already applied..

depending on the structure you could also go modular with something from relcon or similar ( relcon is the house / office / etc sister company to portakabin.. they make ready to go modular buildings.. just drop it on a plot and / or frame and connect the power and water etc together.. )

so it depends on the structure and it's use as to what to suggest..
