Prefered cable?

Hi guys.

I've got to replace some damaged cable running to a submerged pond pump and light fittings at ground level. At the moment I'm going to replace the lighting cable with NYY-J but is this cable suitable to run to the pump or would H05RN-F be better. I'm asking the question as I believe NYY-J has slightly better mechanical protection and the cable is run at surface level amongst the foliage.

FWIW my pond pumps have H05RN-F, however i was finding it quite difficult to buy lengths of it only last week, it seemed that everyone only wanted to sell you a 50m reel.

Looking at NYY-J's specs it seems suitable for use both outside and in water, so its surely fine?
