Hi,

I have a Premier Elite 24 that many moons ago, I bought a comport+ (JAL-0001) and comWIFI (CEK-002) module for.
It never worked properly and I since got Smartcom.

However - I now want to connect the alarm up to Home Assistant and believe I need another 'connection' (is that right?, as have wired and wifi through the smartcom) As I still have the old comWIFI unit thought I could use that. I've also now realised that I never got the antenna for it to connect through the metal case, which might explain why I could never get it to reliably work!

I don't need to buy the board again and surely an antenna and connecting wire can't be that much - so its basically just the bit in the plastic bag in the bottom half of the image below that I need.

Can anyone recommend an antenna and the wire to connect it to the board?

Alternatively, i might just get a comIP board as would prefer wired, but thought i'd try this first.

Thanks in advance!

I’ve worked it out… turns out I was sent the wrong one. I’ve got CEK-0001 with inbuilt aerial… just not much use inside a metal case!

I was thinking that funnily enough. Thanks for the suggestion.
Biggest problem is logging into it. My smartcom’s stopped working in the process of my fiddling with the home assistant and now can’t get in to the panel through wintex nor UDL/digi on the RKP to set up com 3, so tried swapping this out and put it on com 1 which at least turned it on. Wouldn’t connect to the wifi from my phone, but managed it on the laptop, but then it wouldn’t work on the browser to go to 10.10.100.254 - was hoping to be able to use that to get wintex talking to the panel again.
I need to start a new thread for the smartcom problem.

Cant speak for what you have tried.

However I suspect that easiest option is to undo the programming for both units and start from scratch.
Make sure the smart com is set up correctly and get that working.

Critical for the comwifi, will be to ensure you are not using 10001 port when using it for the home assistant connection and that that smart coms ARC is programmed up to send out on its com ip associated port.

That the IP addresses for the smart coms comip is setup differently to the com wifis one.
