Hi,

I have a section of painted interior wall that appeared to be slightly damp.

The roof light has been repaired and the wall dried out and been patched with polycell plaster repair.

I intend to cover the wall in lining paper before painting, to prep the wall, so far I have applied a couple of coats of diluted emulsion.

I would like to know what would be the best surface to ready the wall for the wall paper and paste.

Thanks.

Sounds like your pretty much ready to go, the diluted coats will have primed the wall and filler so now just a light rub down to prevent sharks in the paper dust off and hang
