Preparation before Unibonding

Hi

We're having the kitchen walls and ceiling Unibonded and skimmed. Do you think we need to wash the surfaces before the work is done to remove any grease and dust? If so, is there a particular cleaner that we should use (sugar soap?) Sorry for such a basic question but we're complete amateurs and too embarrassed to ask the chap who's coming to do it! Your help will be much appreciated.
