Is this a prepayment or smart meter? Pic is rubbish but hopefully decent enough for folk in the know to advise one way or the other. It's a Landis+Gyr model and says 'property of Macquarie Bank Ltd' on it. I'm hoping it's just a smart meter.

I'm not sure but I think most smart meters can be switched from pre payment to standard remotely by the provider. Mine is a few years old and was on pre payment as a tenant wasn't paying but then was switched easily over to contract when they left
Do you know when it was fitted. If pre payment it should state how much credit you have on it somewhere
