hello peeps

can some one tell me if you need to put an automatic air vent on the hotwater out of the clyinder?

mine seems to be collecting a little air

sorry for the delay

when you open the hot tap it coughs air out, as it would if you have turned it on for the first time

How much air and how long has it been doing it for? Is it getting worse or staying the same?

seems to have settled down now,, must have drawn some air in

Check expansion vessel (diaphram) , these can split introducing an air pocket to hot water.
