Hi,

I have been given a quote of £12,000 to re-plumb, pipes and all, a large house - six double bedrooms - with two bathrooms and a utility room. This includes basic rads throughout and a megaflo system. Boiler unspecified at the moment.

Does this seem to be an average sort of price? Cheap? Or expensive?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Without you being more specific about what that does and does not include then its difficult to advise.

For expample does that include the cost of the Megaflow or is it a labour only.

Are new rads being fitted? Are rads included?

Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to me. It does include radiators (standard) and it does include the cost of the megaflo as well as labour.

My rule of thumb is £300 per rad ( based on average sizes but yours could be larger ).

Magaflow costs about £900 and fitting about £500 but I still have no idea of what you are having done in bathrooms.

It makes a big difference if you are having a culinder in the same position as an existing one.

Without seeing it its difficult to even guess whats involved.
