Primatic Cylinder!!!!

Having just replaced the rad in the bathroom with a new towel rail. I have refilled my Primatic cylinder to find that there is no hot water getting through to the cylinder from the boiler and the boiler is not firing up.

It's working fine on the central haeting though.

Anybody have an idea as to what it could be and how to clear it?

you have hot water but boiler not firing?
I had a primatic years ago it was great, and after draining formed it own airlock.
I suspect your towel rail has airlock in the pipework, needs to drawn out.
And system to be rebalanced

hi drain down heating system, and then refill very slowly ,filling to fast could cause the air lock.

I have a baxi bermuda back boiler, and basically when hot water is switched on the boiler lights for about 30 seconds and then goes out.

I think there is an air block on the gravity hot water side, but i don't know how to clear it?
