prime again when laying more levelling compound on existing?

hi all, i am a bit desperate for an answer to this cos its really holding me up . . . .

I've layed stop gap green bag with acrylic 55 liquid as in my earlier post, however it isn't as level as it needs to be so I inend on going over it again - BUT - do I prime the existing compound with 131 primer, or not??
