Yes. Actually re-reading both the judgment and the amended GPDO (again - and for the umpteenth time), I'm minded to reverse my opinion. In fact, as long as the proposed extension adjoins the existing then it cannot be permitted development - because, taken as a whole, the extension is not pd

Just to add my 2-cents' worth: that would not be PD for several reasons, chief being that the Hilton loophole has now been well and truly closed.
Also, the two-storey part is higher than 4m - there are probably other reasons as well, but it's Friday night and I couldn't be bothered to check:D

That's not really an 'also'. The original Hilton extension was also in excess of 4m.
