Hi guys,

We lost our pressure, although I managed to get it up again - for it to fall again after about 10 minutes when the red light came on. Now I can't get the temperature up. The pressure is floating around 3 bar (if that even safe?) with temp at about 15C
I've opened the filling loop (which temporarilly only worked once) nothing changes.
Please advise as to what the best approach is!
Thanks in advance.

Lee.

Sorry if I seem like a complete idiot. I'm just not sure of the best approach. I have looked on here for ways to combat this issue, I just haven't found a resolve. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

turn it off - CH off at the timer, elec iso off at spur/plug, filling loop off, boiler on/off switch to off.
turn spur on.
turn boiler on/off switch on.
turn hot tap on. what happens?

Water stayed cold. Bar pressure still at '3' Temp at 10c

(edit) Turned filling loop on pressure dropped to 0 (zero)

Any advise more than welcome.

Thanks again!

You need an Engineer in by the sounds of things, I think you have got Open & Closed the wrong way round, and there is clearly a leak on the boiler or system that needs to be sorted!!

Hey,

Not sure I've got open & closed the wrong way around. Open goes in line with pipe closed across, correct? Forgive me if I'm wrong about that!

Thank F it's Tuesday tomorrow so I can get someone to come here and sort it.

Thanks for your advice.

Lee.
